Kill pessimism: 3 Ideas That Lead To Depression

Kill pessimism: 3 Ideas That Lead To Depression

It’s a great time to be alive. We live in an era of wealth and prosperity, where everything is slowly becoming available to us. Yet we are depressed. According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, depression is the leading cause of disability worldwide. But if we have everything, why do we feel this way? A pessimistic outlook on life can lead to feelings of hopelessness and despair, and if we don’t change our mindset, depression might get the worst of us. Here are three thoughts that will turn you into a pessimistic person.

You are too realistic

It is a fact that realistic people get more depressed than optimistic persons. Psychologists Lauren Alloy and Lyn Yvonne Abramson called it depressive realism. People who see things as they truly are, tend to be more pessimistic, and consequently, more depressed. For instance, they might tell you their writing skills are at 80% and not at 90% as they should be. This rigid and realist way of thinking leads to filtering the positive and makes you focus on the negative. Optimistic people see beyond what they have in front of them and do the best they can with what they have.

You think problems are permanent

Depressed people believe adverse events will never pass. That no matter what they do, bad situations will never be resolved and will stay that way forever. But Buddha Gautama said himself: “everything changes. Nothing lasts forever.” And like your problems, this will pass too. Optimistic people with emotional stability know problems in life are transitory, and once they overcome them, they don’t have to come back. As long as you understand obstacles come and go (especially come!), you will find the silver lining in every situation.

You overgeneralize

Pessimistic people fear a problem will have consequences in every aspect of their life. For instance, if they believe they are not worthy at work, they might think they’re not worthy of having a relationship. But it doesn’t have to be this way. You do not have to be involved in a life of self-sabotage and catastrophism. Things go wrong for one reason and that reason only. When you deal with a difficult situation, don’t worry about the rest of your life. Focus your attention on what’s important and what’s causing the problem. If you have an issue with your family, solve it with them; If you have an issue with your boss, solve it with him. Give time to each area of your life, and you will see there’s a lot more positive in you than you thought.

NEUROPLASTICITY – CAN WE REWIRE OUR BRAINS

NEUROPLASTICITY – CAN WE REWIRE OUR BRAINS

The human brain contains about 100 billion nerve cells – neurons. Since every nerve cell has at least 1000 synapses, we come to the astonishing number that the human brain generates at least 1000 trillion connections.

Creating brain circles is an active process that takes place with experience and under the influence of the environment. Connections we use are strengthened and become permanent, and those we don’t use are weak and degrade over time.

Everything we see, hear, feel, taste and smell shape our brain circles.

The question that is being asked is whether the adult brain can be altered? Does it have an attribute of neuroplasticity inherent in the age of childhood?

Neuroplasticity is the ability of nerve cells to create new connections and new brain functions. It is the ability of the brain to change and adapt itself through life.

It was proved for the first time in the seventies on the primates, and later on humans who suffered a stroke and whose brain was altered by itself.

Violinist Martha Curtis suffered from seizures. The large part of the right temporal lobe of her brain had to be surgically removed. After such a procedure, a person may stay paralyzed or even die. However, neuroplasticity has allowed Martha’s brain to adapt to damage, recover and continue musical processes in other parts of the brain.

You can see Martha Curtis in this video:

The girl Alexandria Moody had severe damage of the entire left half of the brain. Doctors proposed removing the entire left hemisphere of her brain. At that time this was the best solution for children who had suffered from uncontrolled and life-threatening attacks.

After the surgery, the girl recovered, seizures stopped and she was able to live a “normal” life. The neuroplasticity of the brain allowed her to perform the tasks she would otherwise do.

Thus, one characteristic of neuroplasticity is that a certain brain activity associated with a certain function (movements, music …) can be transmitted to another part of the brain. This is most commonly occurring when recovering from brain injury.

At these two girls, other parts of the brain and the creation of new connections have enabled them “normal functioning”.

At this time, it was believed only child’s brain has an attribute of neuroplasticity, but today it is known an adult brain can also adapt and be altered.

It is interesting that new neural connections are created not only by the influence of the environment but also by the influence of our behavior, thoughts and emotions. That’s why we often hear of importance to be active all the time and to learn something new to keep our brain’s agility.

Meditation has a strong influence on the density of gray matter in the brain and a positive effect on it.

Fitness and exercise also change the brain in a positive way.

If the human brain has an attribute of neuroplasticity, what does it mean for all of us?

That means we need to be aware of the fact that we can change the functioning of our brain.

That means we can change our thoughts and emotions if we are not happy with them or we have been negatively programmed in childhood or during life.

That means we can change our behavior that does not serve us and keep us in the place where we are.

That means we can improve some of the brain functions that are less developed.

Having the knowledge that our brain possesses the capacity of neuroplasticity means to have the BELIEF that we are not sentenced to status quo in any sense of the word.

SELF-CONFIDENCE CREATOR

SELF-CONFIDENCE CREATOR

After I’ve studied The Secret of Deliberate Creation program by Dr. Robert Anthony, I was convinced since the author created such a good program, his other programs should be at least as equally good. And I wasn’t wrong!

Although we all know at a certain level that self-confidence is a critical success factor in our lives, we are rarely finding authors who reliably know this fact and confidently talk about it in their books and programs. This indicates that as a society we are not sufficiently aware of how important it is to invest in the self-confidence of an individual. More details about self-confidence can be found in this article.

Starting from the fact that building self-confidence is of major importance for individual, I couldn’t wait to buy this program – Self Confidence Creator.

What I liked in the program right away is how Dr. Robert Anthony presents its content – confidently, convincing and authentic – what immediately instill trust in the listener.

The other thing in this program that makes me satisfied is that author really knows what he’s talking about and talks straight to the point – without quibbling, prevaricating or footling.

The third thing I like about the program is super easiness to understand. There is no digitized information, author does not hide himself behind complex words and sentences, but truly cares to transfer the knowledge as well as possible. He genuinely cares for the listener’s well-being.

Affected by all these features, the listener simply by listening feels greater self-confidence. This is my experience, of course. But I believe it is also the experience of many others. You can read more about Dr. Robert Anthony here.

In Self Confident Creator Dr. Robert Anthony talk about Habits, attitudes and skills of self-confident people and teach you specific, effective and highly reliable ways to think and act more confidently. And also how to be more realistic about yourself, your strengths and your possibilities.

Self Confidence creator comprise information how to model the skills and strategies of high self-confident people and installation of information you need to make changes at subconscious or emotional level.

You will also learn how you have been unconsciously sabotaging yourself. This information alone will help you to feel self confident.

According to author: “It is not enough to know about self-confidence or why you have it or lack it. Your ability to feel self confident is directly proportional to our subconscious beliefs at the emotional, not the intellectual level.”

The Self Confidence Creator consists of 22 tracks:

1. Introduction
2. The Ability To Learn
3. Map of Reality

Another Scientific Proof of LOA – DNA Phantom Effect

Another Scientific Proof of LOA – DNA Phantom Effect

This text is an excerpt from Greg Braden – “The Language of the Devine Matrix”.

This experiment was designed by a scientist Dr. Vladimir Poponin in 1992. to find out what impact DNA has on photons – the “stuff” our world is made of.

He took the glass tube and removed all the air from the inside of the tube thus creating a vacuum. It was assumed that the tube was empty.

But he discovered that the tube was not actually empty, yet there were photons in it – particles of light.  So scientists have decided to measure where in the tube the photons are located.

Are they located on the side of the tube or at the bottom or somewhere else? What they find is that they are completely randomly distributed everywhere in the tube.

Then they took human DNA and put it in the tube with the photons, and asked the question what effect human DNA has on photons?

What they were actually asking was what effect our body has on the world around us. In conventional science, it was considered that our body has no effect on the world around us. But that does not match what the experiment showed.

The experiment showed that the photons were arranged along the human DNA that was placed in the tube. The photons have physically changed their arrangement in the tube  – they moved in the presence of human DNA as influenced by some invisible energy.

So, the photons from which our world is made of are rearranged in the presence of the DNA from which our body is made of.

This is the first time that an experiment is being shown in a lab – our body changes our world.

At the end of the experiment when they decided to remove DNA from the tube, happened something so unexpected. The scientist believed the photons would return to their original random state. Instead, the photons were still lined up by DNA just as if DNA was still there, what brings us to the conclusion that we have a direct influence on the world around us even after we are gone.

This experiment makes us consider again our idea of reality and our connection with the physical world.

Scientific Proof of The Law of Attraction No. 2 – What?

Scientific Proof of The Law of Attraction No. 2 – What?

ENTANGLEMENT

This text is an excerpt from Greg Braden – “The Language of the Devine Matrix”.

This Experiment has been performed in Switzerland at the University of Geneva by Nicolas Gisin, and has been reported to over 3400 journalist, educators, scientist and engineers in more than 40 countries on Friday, July 25, 1997.

In experiment, scientists wanted to have two identical particles, so they took a particle of light – the photon – that was split into two identical parts – twins.

Then they isolated them in a special device in which they could separate them in opposite directions by 14 miles at the same time. 7 miles in one direction and 7 miles in other direction. When they separated them, they could start with the experiment.

What they found during the experiment is whatever they did to one photon the second photon seemed to be still connected to the first photon even though it was 14 miles away.

The other one acts as if they are still connected!

The question that is being asked is Why?

The term used to describe this phenomenon is “Entanglement” – particles once physically joined, seem to remain linked energetically.

This is important because it implies that once matter is connected, it is always connected. Thus at the beginning of our universe there was a time when everything was connected.

This means that today everything is still connected. We are all connected to things and to each other.
